The Revenue Cycle Project Manager is responsible for the successful project management of all aspects of Revenue Cycle software implementations inter- and intra-departmental process improvement projects, revenue enhancement and charge capture analysis. Responsibilities include the management of project scope, time, expense management, project status reporting, issue resolution and escalation, project plan maintenance, technical and application guidance and recommendations, rollout and deployment planning. Develops and recommends policies, procedures, goals, objectives, and system enhancements in conjunction with organizational strategic goals and initiatives. Builds strong positive relationships with key individuals: clinical staff, Directors, Physicians, Administrators and Revenue Cycle Division.

– Require a minimum of five (5) years of broad revenue cycle experience preferably in a large hospital setting is required

– Prefer the ability to mentor by guiding individuals and groups towards desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering industry-leading quality services.

– Prefer the ability to lead and direct various high priority projects concurrently, including managing the time, scope, and resources necessary to complete the projects.

– Prefer the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems.

– Prefer the ability to develop, read, analyze, flow chart and interpret the most complex documents and processes.

– Prefer the ability to reconcile complex data sets across multiple interfaced systems, identifying discrepancies and the reasons for variation.

– Prefer the ability to build strong relationships and deliver high quality service to all customers.

– Prefer proficiency in PC-based software, the ability to instruct staff on systems and develop complex reports as needed.

– Prefer excellent written and oral communication skills, to include composing correspondence reports and presentations.
